We hunt at flea markets, thrift stores and in bulk lots, sort out what's worth saving, then every piece goes through quality control, an inside-out cold wash with air drying, a flat W/L measurement, and a rating out of 10. Nothing goes live until it's been through all four steps.

- The hunt — flea markets, thrift stores, lots from individuals or wholesalers. It's our favorite part: you never know what you're going to find.
- Sorting and inspection — we check the seams, zippers, stains, holes, fabric wear. A piece that's too damaged or has lost its authenticity (redone patch, replaced button) doesn't make it into stock.
